Gathering Places




GLBT Youth Group @ ACCKWA Tusdays, 7:00-9:00pm. GLBT youth only. Youth can contact ACCKWA for details and to attend.



OK2BME Youth Group-Kitchener Alternating Tusdays, 6:00-7:30 pm. GLBT youth only. Call 519-884-0000 x212 or email ok2bme@kwcounselling.com and ask to attend.



GLOW Discussion Group Tuesdays, 7:15pm. Canada's first GLBT social group, Gays and Lesbians of Waterloo meets each week with discussion topics. Mostly University of Waterloo and Laurier students.



AfterGLOW Tuesdays, Social 8:30pm. Just like the name, a social group for those who just didn't get enough human interaction after GLOW.



ACG ACG Anonymous Harm Reduction Clinic, 409 Woowich Street, 2nd Floor, Guelph. Every other Wednesday from 1:30-3:30pm. Walk-in. Confidential.



Club Renaissance Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00pm-3:00am. The area's longest-standing GLBT nightclub. Latest music, DJ, great pricing, there's a cover charge some nights. Lots of students and the younger set.



The Robin's Nest New location! 1260 Bishop Street, Cambridge. Saturdays, 9:00pm-2:00am. For 30 years, the hotspot for mostly ladies, very friendly to all.



The Underground "Queer Friendly Nite" 100 Carden Street, Guelph. Thursday, 9:00pm-2:00am. Rumor has it this is still going on, but needs some corroboration. Anyone?



Baker's Street 26 Hobson Street, Unit #3, Cambridge. Open Saturdays, 9:00pm-2:00am, and for special events - check the website. Traditionally attracts more women, but all comers are welcomed.



ACCKWA Anonymous Drop-In HIV Testing Clinic 4:00-7:00pm, every Thursday, 67 King Street East, Suite 105, Kitchener (main entrance is off the parking lot on Charles Street; the double glass doors under the sign that says Benton Building).



Dyketopia Thursdays Thursday, 8:00pm. GLOW social group primarily for the ladies.



GLOBAL Meetings. The Laurier Rainbow Centre's student group. Contact GLOBAL for time/date details.



Friends of Dorothy Bowling Sundays, 3:00pm (on hiatus in summer).
